Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic in the technical department. You keep machines and technical installations running. You do both preventive maintenance and fix breakdowns.

What you'll do

• You carry out inspections and preventive maintenance on machines and installations
• You diagnose and fix mechanical and electrotechnical faults
• You inspect machines and report wear or irregularities
• You replace parts and carry out repair work
• You log completed work in the maintenance management system
• You suggest improvements to machines and production processes
• You work according to health and safety rules and quality standards

What we ask

• Experience in mechanics or electrotechnics (required)
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
• Category B driving licence
• Knowledge of the Dutch language

A plus

• Experience as a service mechanic or maintenance mechanic
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or PLC controllers
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for working on industrial sites) or willingness to obtain it

What we offer

• Gross salary from €2,800 to €3,800 per month, depending on experience
• 25 days of holiday and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary)
