Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic. You are responsible for maintaining and repairing machines, vehicles, and gardening equipment. You make sure the whole fleet is ready to work.

What you'll do

• You carry out maintenance, repairs, and technical inspections of gardening equipment, machines, and tools
• You fix faults in ride-on mowers, tractors, mowing machines, leaf blowers, chainsaws, and other small and large equipment
• You diagnose technical problems and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• You make sure equipment is ready on time for the field teams

What we ask

• Experience in maintaining and repairing machines, vehicles, or gardening equipment
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems; knowledge of electrics is a plus
• Driving licence category B and T (category BE is a plus); experience with welding or qualifications for technical inspections are an extra advantage

Employment conditions

• Salary from €2,882 to €3,294 gross per month, in line with the CAO (collective labour agreement)
• Minimum 25 days holiday and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, paid on top of your salary)
• Travel costs reimbursed
• Pension contribution from the employer
• After one year, possibility of a permanent contract
