Port Equipment Mechanic

About the job

You work as a port equipment mechanic at a company based directly in the port. You handle servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles and technical installations used for loading and unloading ships.

What you'll do

• You inspect and repair large wheeled vehicles and lifting equipment used in the port
• You report and inspect faults on all equipment at the site
• You repair small and large technical installations within the port
• You record completed work and parts used

What we ask

• Experience in servicing or repairing heavy vehicles or technical machinery
• Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical faults on your own
• Willingness to work with a variety of equipment every day
