About the job

You work as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial setting on the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. You take care of maintenance and repairs on conveyor belts and cargo handling machines.

What you'll do

• Carry out mechanical maintenance on conveyor belts and cargo handling systems
• Diagnose and fix faults, and repair production equipment
• Work on structures and rotating equipment
• Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid downtime
• Work together with colleagues from different technical fields and take part in improving installations

What we ask

• Experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial setting
• Hands-on knowledge of conveyor belts, cargo handling machines or similar mechanical equipment
• Willingness to work in a team and take an active role in solving technical problems
