Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

As a maintenance mechanic, you are responsible for the reliability, availability and performance of production machines. You work closely with the production team, the maintenance department and other departments. You work a 3-shift schedule, rotating weekly between morning, afternoon and night shifts.

What you'll do

• Analyse and fix technical faults on production equipment
• Draw up maintenance plans and schedule preventive inspections
• Improve installations and processes to prevent downtime
• Support the installation, commissioning and use of new equipment
• Order and manage spare parts, tools and technical supplies
• Respond quickly to faults and emergency situations

What we ask

• Good command of English
• Experience as a maintenance mechanic, service mechanic or in a similar technical role
• Completed MBO level 4 technical education (MBO is Dutch vocational secondary education, level 4 is the highest level)
• Willingness to work a 3-shift schedule
• Ability to work independently, a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary from €3,200 to €4,000 depending on experience, including shift allowance
• Shift allowance of 21% for 3-shift work
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.19 per km
• 20 days of annual leave and 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay paid on top of your salary, required by Dutch law)
