Breakdown Electromechanic (4-shift)
About the job
Do you enjoy solving complex breakdowns? Are you comfortable with WTB installations or control engineering? Then this is your chance as a Breakdown Electromechanic in a 4-shift system at a dairy plant.
You work in a team of eight: a production manager, a senior planner, a PLC software engineer, four breakdown electromechanics on shifts, and one breakdown electromechanic on day shift. You work closely with a group of 6 to 7 process operators to keep production running and to fix problems quickly.
What you'll do
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in mechanics, electrical engineering, and control engineering
- Keep production installations available and reliable
- Read data and find faults in PLC systems (SIEMENS)
- Take part in technical improvement teams for machines and processes
- Keep technical documentation and machine descriptions up to date
What we ask
We are looking for someone who works independently and takes initiative. You also have:
- A completed technical education at MBO-3/4 level (Dutch vocational qualification, levels 3 or 4), for example in mechanics, electrical engineering, or control engineering
- Several years of experience as a breakdown electromechanic in a process industry, preferably food or dairy
- Knowledge of PLC systems is a plus
- A willingness to learn, an analytical mindset, and solid technical knowledge
- Availability to work in a 4-shift system (average working week is 36 hours)

- Gross monthly salary from €4,430 to €5,935, including a 4-shift allowance of 26.48%
- Annual bonus of 5%
