Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

The client is one of the largest logistics companies in the world. They run large, fully automated warehouses with advanced conveyor and handling systems. We are looking for a maintenance mechanic for a full-time position (40 hours per week) on a shift basis in Zwolle.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on technical installations
• Find and fix mechanical and electrical faults
• Repair and replace parts
• Work with automated warehouse systems and conveyors
• Carry out inspections and keep installations running properly
• Work together with the technical maintenance team

What we ask

• Technical background in maintenance, mechanics, electromechanics or electrical engineering
• Able to diagnose and solve faults on your own
• Hands-on approach to work
• Communicative level of English
• Willing to work shifts
• A driving licence is an advantage

What we offer

• Base rate €19.63 gross per hour (€3,400 to €4,929 gross per month)
• Shift allowance up to 45%:
• 19:00 to 20:00: +35% (€26.50 per hour)
• 20:00 to 04:00: +45% (€28.46 per hour)
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay paid on top of your salary, required by Dutch law)
• Housing can be arranged
• A company car can be arranged
