Agricultural Machinery Mechanic

About the job

You work as a workshop mechanic. You maintain, repair and adapt agricultural machines and other technical equipment. Your workplace is the workshop. Your job is to keep machines and vehicles in good technical condition and safe to use.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair machines and vehicles (tractors, mowers, earthmoving machines and others).
• Handle breakdowns and carry out full overhauls.
• Weld using MIG/MAG, grind and do construction work.
• Check the technical condition and safety of equipment.
• Prepare machines for use on different projects.

What we ask

• Experience as a workshop mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic or commercial vehicle mechanic.
• At least 3 years of experience with hydraulics, welding and construction work.
• A valid MIG/MAG welding certificate.
• Category B driving licence.
• Good knowledge of Dutch (required for safety on the job).

What we offer

• Salary from €3,250 to €3,950 gross per month, depending on experience, including a 6.5% ADV allowance (a Dutch compensation for reduced working hours).
• 26 holiday days per year.
• Vakantiegeld (holiday pay) of 8.33%.
• Pension contribution through BPL: the employer pays 19.09%, the employee pays 7.31%.
• Travel cost reimbursement in line with CAO GGI (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement; GGI covers the groundwork, infrastructure and green sector).
