About the job

You work as a junior maintenance technician on production lines in Meppel. Your knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering is put to good use in a small, close-knit team.

What you'll do

• You carry out planned maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns.
• You analyse and fix technical faults quickly to keep production downtime low.
• You keep production machines running well and available, such as filling machines and packaging lines.
• You take part in projects to improve processes and machines.
• You actively suggest ways to optimise processes and equipment.

What we ask

• Practical knowledge of mechanics and/or electrical engineering, shown through work experience.
• Ability to diagnose and fix technical faults.
• Willing to work in a team and solve problems on your own.
