APK Service Technician

About the job

As an APK (Dutch vehicle inspection, known as APK) service technician, you install, maintain, inspect and repair vehicle inspection equipment at customer locations in the Utrecht and Amersfoort region. You work independently, you are the main point of contact on site, and you build your skills through internal training and support from your manager.

What you'll do

• Install and commission APK vehicle inspection equipment
• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
• Work with hydraulics, electronics and technical systems
• Handle customer contact in a professional way and maintain quality of work
• Plan your own work and act in a results-oriented way

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch vocational college) level education
• Technical background, for example mechatronics, mechanical engineering or automotive
• Technical understanding and interest in hydraulics, electronics and installations
• Initiative, problem-solving thinking and a careful, structured way of working
• Willingness to learn and keep developing
• Living in the Utrecht or Amersfoort region is an advantage
• Required: candidates must already live in the Netherlands and have the right to work in the Netherlands. The client does not provide work permits, residence permits or visa sponsorship.
