Maintenance Technician

About the job

As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for the upkeep, inspection, and optimisation of machines and installations at a production facility near Geldrop. You keep things running smoothly by fixing faults quickly and keeping production on track.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on machines and installations
• Find, analyse, and fix breakdowns
• Perform technical inspections and checks
• Carry out inspections according to NEN 3140 (Dutch standard for electrical safety in the workplace)
• Help suggest technical improvements and process optimisation
• Support automation and robotics projects
• Record completed work and technical results
• Work together with colleagues in the technical and production departments

What we ask

• Completed MBO (Dutch intermediate vocational education) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of technical installations
• Knowledge of control and distribution diagrams
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Technical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Flexible attitude, not strictly a 9-to-5 approach
• Accuracy and focus on quality
• Service-oriented and a good team player
• Experience in a technical or production environment is a plus

• Salary from €2,898 to €3,940 gross per month
• Permanent contract from day one
• 40-hour work week, 32 hours negotiable
