Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

You work as a maintenance mechanic at a production facility in Goes. You work independently to keep machines running, fix breakdowns, and carry out preventive maintenance.

What you'll do

• Quickly find and fix breakdowns on machines and production systems
• Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance, including lubricating machines
• Work in the maintenance management system and log completed tasks
• Actively suggest improvements to prevent recurring breakdowns
• Take part in projects that improve maintenance policy, reporting directly to the maintenance manager

What we ask

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in mechanics or electrical engineering
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, control systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Good command of Dutch
• Willing to work a 2-shift system (morning shift 05:20-14:30 / afternoon shift 14:20-23:30, shorter hours on Fridays)

Employment conditions

• Gross salary: €2,700 - €3,950 per month
• Shift allowance of 14.2%
• 6 ADV days (additional days off under Dutch working hours agreements) and 24 days of annual leave
• Holiday allowance of 8.33% (vakantiegeld: a standard Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary, usually once a year)
