Technical Assembly Technician

About the job

As a technical assembly technician, you keep machines and production lines running well. Every day looks a bit different. You use your technical knowledge to fix faults quickly and keep machines working at their best. You can also take part in improvement projects and help develop production processes.

What you'll do

• Assembly: put together mechanical, electrotechnical and hydraulic parts using technical drawings.
• Commissioning: test machines and get them ready for use.
• Maintenance: carry out preventive checks and fix faults to reduce downtime.
• Optimisation: help improve and develop machines and production lines.
• Collaboration: work with departments like engineering and production to improve processes.

What we ask

• A completed MBO (Dutch secondary vocational education) in mechatronics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
• Experience assembling mechanical, electrotechnical and hydraulic parts.
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
• Willingness to take part in machine optimisation projects.
• You live near Sneek, Drachten, Heerenveen or Leeuwarden.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,600 to €4,000 gross per month.
• Fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position.
• Full-time work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• 25 days of holiday plus 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary).
• Travel costs reimbursed according to company policy.
• Opportunities for career growth and training, including PLC courses and VCA (a Dutch health and safety certificate).
