About the job
A Technical Department Mechanic keeps the machines and equipment in a production facility in Ede running. You work the day shift. The work is independent and comes with real responsibility.
What you'll do
- Carry out maintenance and repair work on production machines and equipment
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
- Carry out planned inspections and technical checks
- Keep the machines ready for use and reduce downtime
- Work with production operators to report and solve faults
- Keep technical documentation and a log of completed work
- Report when spare parts and consumables need to be ordered
What we ask
- A technical background in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering
- Experience in a similar maintenance role
- Basic knowledge of electrics, mechanics and pneumatics
- Ability to read technical diagrams
- VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) is a plus
- Category B driving licence
- Able to work independently and set priorities
