E&I Technician
About the job
You will work at the world's largest chemical company. Your job is to keep the electrical installations in the factory in good condition. You do this by running preventive tests to catch problems early. You are also the first contact when something breaks down. Some breakdowns need an immediate fix, others can be planned. You will handle preventive and corrective maintenance of systems, installations, equipment and tools. This requires knowledge, commitment, responsibility and the ability to work independently.
What you'll do
- Analyse faults and fix them on production installations
- Supervise external contractors
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production installations
- Instruct technicians on how to operate equipment
- Participate in on-call duty
What we ask
We are looking for an E&I Technician who takes initiative, works well in a team and has a hands-on approach. You also have:
- An mbo-4 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 4) diploma in electrical engineering, instrumentation, energy technology, measurement and control, or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of measurement and control technology in the process industry
- Knowledge of environmental requirements, quality standards, safety and health and safety regulations
- Experience with SAP
