E&I Technician

About the job

You work as an E&I technician on electrical installations and measuring instruments in industry, energy, and engineering. You work on different sites around Rotterdam for large industrial clients.

What you'll do

• Install and test electrical installations and measuring instruments
• Maintain and calibrate measuring and control instruments
• Find and fix faults
• Carry out inspections and checks
• Record and report completed work

What we ask

• At least 2 years of experience as an E&I technician (electrical engineering or instrumentation)
• Good command of Dutch
• Category B driving licence

What we offer

• Monthly salary (full time, 38 hours per week):

Junior (0-3 years of experience): €3,310 gross/month (€20.98/hour)

Mid-level (3-5 years): €3,729 gross/month (€23.56/hour)

Senior (5+ years): €4,148 gross/month (€26.20/hour)

• These amounts do not include supplements for overtime, shift work, or irregular hours
• From 1 October 2025, a 3% pay rise under the CAO (collective labour agreement) Metaal & Techniek applies. This is part of a total increase of around 13% over the period April 2024 to February 2026
• 13 ADV days per year at full time. ADV days are paid time off used to reduce working hours to the agreed standard
• Training and courses to develop your skills
• Work on various projects at leading companies in the Rotterdam area
• Possibility of a permanent contract with the end employer. Self-employment is not an option
