About the job
As an Allround E&I Technician you are part of the Technical Department. Every day is different. You handle preventive maintenance and complex faults. Safety comes first. You report directly to the Technical Manager. The site has a wide range of installations, so broad technical knowledge is important, especially in electrical engineering and instrumentation.
What you'll do
- Keep installations available and reliable
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, control and instrumentation systems
- Make technical modifications to installations
- Read, diagnose and fix faults in Siemens PLC systems
- Supervise external contractors on specialist projects
What we ask
Do you like varied technical work and do you want to keep a chemical plant running at its best? Then this role suits you. We also ask:
- MBO3 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
- The following certificates, or willingness to obtain them: NEN3140 IV/WV LS (Dutch low-voltage electrical safety standard), BHV (Dutch in-company emergency response), forklift, fire alarm system controller, and flange connections
- Work experience in the (chemical) industry in a similar role
- Knowledge of utility systems: steam, cooling water, water treatment and air compressors
- Knowledge of Delta V DCS, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Willingness to be on call once every 3 to 4 weeks
- Good command of Dutch and English
What we offer
- Gross monthly salary from €3,750 to €4,500
- Fixed 13th month payment
- One-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
- 25 vacation days (based on full-time)
- 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory Dutch payment on top of your salary)
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km
