About the job
You work on high voltage installations that keep the Dutch energy grid running. Your work is varied: from installing and inspecting cables to carrying out safety measurements. You work outdoors in different weather conditions and in a team to solve complex faults. You always keep quality and safety in mind.
What you'll do
- Carry out work on high voltage installations: installing, inspecting, replacing and expanding cables, components and connections
- Ensure quality and safety by performing various measurements and tests, such as voltage-free confirmations and insulation tests
- Spot deviations during work and discuss them with your supervisor so projects run smoothly
- Follow NEN standards (Dutch technical safety standards) and safety procedures closely, and report hazards immediately through the safety app
- Take an active part in developing new working methods and process improvements in the energy sector
What we ask
- Completed MBO (Dutch vocational education) level 3 or 4 in electrical engineering or a related field
- Between 0 and 3 years of work experience in electrical engineering; experience with high voltage is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of safe working practices according to NEN standards, and willingness to obtain additional certificates
- Category B driving licence, and preferably also BE, because the role covers the whole of the Netherlands
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions
