## About the job

Do you want to work as an all-round E&I technician on technical installations in an industrial production environment? In Sappemeer you can use your knowledge of electrotechnics, instrumentation and automation in a paper factory.

You keep the production process running reliably, fix technical faults and take part in improvements that make installations safer and more efficient. The mix of technical work, independence and day shifts makes this a good step for experienced technicians.

As an all-round E&I technician you are responsible for maintaining, improving and optimising the electrical installations in the factory. You work with a wide range of machines and deal with varied technical issues.

## What you'll do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations
• Find, analyse and fix electrical faults
• Maintain and inspect measurement and control equipment, sensors and control systems
• Work with PLC-controlled installations and industrial automation
• Carry out modifications and technical improvement projects
• Test, measure and inspect electrical installations
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Help find solutions that improve the reliability and availability of installations
• Work together with colleagues from the technical and production departments

You do not just fix faults. You also analyse the cause and look for ways to prevent problems structurally. This means you directly contribute to a stable and efficient production process.

## What we ask

We are looking for a technically strong E&I technician who takes responsibility and solves technical problems independently.

You have

• A completed MBO-3 or MBO-4 (Dutch vocational education, levels 3 or 4) qualification in electrotechnics, industrial automation, mechatronics or a similar field
• Experience as an E&I technician, electrical technician or maintenance technician in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of electrotechnics, control engineering and measurement and control technology
• Experience with fault analysis and maintenance of production installations
• An independent and solution-focused way of working
• The ability to work safely and accurately

Experience in the process industry, paper industry or a similar production environment is a plus.
