Renewable Energy Systems Installer

About the job

As a Renewable Energy Systems Installer, you install, connect and commission different renewable energy systems at private and business customers. You work independently on projects and deliver high-quality installations.

What you'll do

• Install and connect heat pumps (hybrid and fully electric)
• Mount solar panels and connect inverters
• Install home batteries and energy storage systems
• Carry out and expand electrotechnical installations
• Install ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Install smart energy management systems and home automation systems
• Adjust, test and optimise installations
• Find and solve technical problems
• Explain to customers how their installed renewable system works

What we ask

• Experience as an installer in installation work, electrotechnics or HVAC
• Knowledge of at least one of the following: heat pumps, solar panels, ventilation or air conditioning
• Category B driving licence
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and industrial sites) and/or F-gas diploma, or willingness to obtain them
• Ability to work independently and a problem-solving attitude
• Good communication skills
• Interest in renewable technologies and the energy transition
• A plus: experience with multiple renewable technologies, home automation, fault finding or system calibration
