Renewable Energy Systems Installer

About the job

As a renewable energy systems installer, you make sure installations work safely, reliably, and to a high standard. You work independently on projects in the Rosmalen area and handle the full technical side of each job.

What you'll do

• Install and maintain solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations, and home energy storage systems
• Modify electrical distribution boards and install inverters
• Carry out electrical connection work
• Find and fix faults and technical problems
• Test and inspect installations for safety and correct operation
• Work independently on projects within about 30 kilometres of Rosmalen
• Advise customers on how to use their installations
• Take part in training sessions and workshops to build your knowledge

What we ask

• At least a VMBO (Dutch pre-vocational secondary education) diploma in a technical field
• Experience in electrical work
• An interest in renewable energy and modern techniques
• A category B driving licence
• A valid VCA-VOL certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working in hazardous environments; VOL is the full version for independent workers)
• Willingness to take part in training sessions and workshops
• A self-sufficient attitude and a focus on the customer
• Living within about 30 kilometres of Rosmalen
