Maintenance Technician

About the job

Looking for a job as a maintenance technician in a modern production facility? In this role you are responsible for maintaining, inspecting and improving machines and installations. You work in a technical team and help keep production safe, on track and running well.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on machines, installations and tools
• Perform technical inspections
• Monitor the safe use of machines and materials
• Assess whether maintenance can be done in-house or needs a specialist
• Supervise internal and external specialists
• Instruct operators and production management on correct machine use
• Report unsafe situations and take the right action
• Log completed work in technical systems
• Keep maintenance schedules up to date
• Improve work processes and safety instructions

What we ask

• Technical education at MBO level (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a vocational diploma)
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician or troubleshooting technician
• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Good communication skills
• Available for long-term employment in this role

• Salary: €3,314 to €4,792 gross per month, depending on experience
• Full time, 40 hours per week
