Machine Assembler / Mechanical Engineer

About the job

You work as a machine assembler in the Zwolle region. You assemble machines, modules and technical structures using technical drawings. You make sure everything is put together correctly and works as it should.

What you'll do

• Assembling machines and technical modules
• Fitting and adjusting mechanical parts
• Working from technical drawings and work instructions
• Carrying out construction and assembly work
• Processing and working with different materials
• Welding and joining parts and structures
• Doing custom work and making technical modifications
• Checking, testing and adjusting machines and structures
• Taking part in finding technical solutions and improvements

What we ask

• 1 to 3 years of experience in machine building, mechanics or metalworking
• A technical qualification, preferably in mechanics or machine building
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Technical mindset and ability to work independently
• Willingness to develop further through courses and training
• Hands-on approach and a focus on finding solutions
• Knowledge of machine building, assembly and engineering
• Driving licence and own car
