Mechanical Fitter – Shipbuilding

About the job

You work as a mechanical fitter in the shipbuilding industry. You travel to clients independently in a company van, fix faults, carry out inspections, and commission hydraulic steering systems.

What you'll do

• Commission hydraulic steering machines on ships
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems
• Find and fix faults in installations
• Carry out fitting and assembly work

What we ask

• Experience in mechanics or hydraulics
• Willing to work independently and travel for work within the Netherlands and abroad
• Category B driving licence
