Mechanical Fitter

About the job

As a Mechanical Fitter, you are the main technical specialist in a production environment. You handle both preventive maintenance and independent troubleshooting of mechanical faults on machines and installations.

What you'll do

• Locate, analyse and fix mechanical faults
• Carry out maintenance work on production installations
• Implement technical improvements to increase machine reliability
• Perform Break Down Analysis
• Update maintenance plans and records in SAP PM
• Supervise external fitters and suppliers
• Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) projects and improvement projects
• Share technical knowledge with colleagues and operators

What we ask

• Completed MBO-4 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 4) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics and welding techniques
• Experience in a production or industrial environment
• Basic knowledge of English
• Knowledge of SAP PM, TPM methodologies and ATEX is a plus
• Willingness to work in a three-shift system
