Mechanical Fitter

About the job

You work as a mechanical fitter at a production facility in Vuren. Your job is to keep installations and machines running and to fix breakdowns.

What you'll do

• You carry out maintenance on installations and machines in a neat and efficient way
• You find faults, replace parts and make adjustments
• You actively suggest technical improvements and new solutions
• You work closely with colleagues from maintenance, production and engineering
• You follow health and safety rules and you are available for on-call or shift work

What we ask

• Experience in maintaining industrial installations or technical systems in a production environment
• Technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, drives and mechanical components
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for working in industrial environments) or willingness to get it; flexibility for on-call duties or shift work
