Assembly Mechanic

About the job

As an assembly mechanic you work the day shift in a team of 6 mechanics and 4 electricians. The work is at a chemical site in Zwijndrecht. There is a lot to learn and training options are available.

You get

What you'll do

• Work on rotating and static equipment.
• Carry out safety checks.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Work according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.
• Take part in the gaspakteam, a team that does specialist maintenance work in gas-tight suits.
• Carry out failure analyses.
• Write reports and fill in databases.

What we ask

• MBO level 4 (Dutch vocational qualification) in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with assembly, repair and modification work on specialist industrial installations.
• Able to write reports and work with databases.
