About the job

Are you looking for a job as a mechanical assembler with varied work and room to grow? The client company in Rotterdam specialises in servicing and repairing machines, including cranes, shaft drives and gearboxes. In this role you work both on your own and as part of a team.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and fix faults, and carry out on-site maintenance at customers
• Overhaul and repair various equipment: pumps, shafts, control units, cylinders and similar
• Carry out maintenance work in the workshop on different machines
• Repair and maintain cranes, shaft drives and gearboxes

What we ask

• Completed MBO level 2 or 3 (Dutch vocational qualification) in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, motor vehicle technology or similar
• Experience in the industry is a plus
• You hold a VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for construction and industry) and a forklift certificate, or you are willing to obtain them
• Category B driving licence
• A proactive attitude
