Mechanical Assembler – Offshore Technology

About the job

You work on the assembly, adjustment and testing of machines and installations used in the offshore and dredging industry. Your work includes both workshop tasks and service trips to customer sites.

What you'll do

• Assemble, rebuild and adjust machines and production lines
• Carry out assembly work, alignment and technical tests
• Read and apply technical drawings, diagrams and work instructions
• Support with servicing, installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites
• Work with colleagues and external assemblers on technical solutions

What we ask

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in technical assembly or service work (mechanical experience, for example with cars or motorcycles, is also welcome)
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems: hoses, pumps and valves, and the ability to read technical drawings
• Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written

Employment conditions

• Salary: €2,700 to €3,700 per month, depending on experience
• 30 days of holiday per year at full-time hours, with the option to buy 10 extra days
• Flexible working hours
• Reimbursement of accommodation costs when travelling for work
• Travel allowance: €0.25 per kilometre
