Rail Vehicle Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic on rail vehicles in Rotterdam. You find and fix electrical, mechanical and control faults. Your work helps thousands of passengers get where they need to go safely.

What you'll do

• You find and fix faults on different rail vehicles
• You carry out repair and maintenance work on electronics, control systems and mechanical parts
• You write reports based on NEN standards (Dutch technical safety standards), safety measures and related instructions

What we ask

• Experience with or interest in electrical and mechanical faults in vehicles
• Willingness to learn control system technology (rail vehicle training is provided)
• Ability to work independently after completing the training
