About the job
The employer designs, produces, delivers and installs equipment for sewage pumping stations, pump stations, wastewater treatment plants and vacuum systems. They are looking for a precise fitter who sees jobs through to the end and keeps safety in mind at all times.
What you'll do
- Carry out assembly and repair work on (sewage) pumping stations and related systems
- Install pumps, pipework and fittings
- Connect control systems (basic electrical work only)
- Do demolition and groundwork
- Work on both mechanical and civil engineering tasks
- Work together with a colleague on site
- Drive a modern, fully equipped service van
What we ask
- Completed education at V(M)BO level or equivalent, preferably in a mechanical field
- VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate required for working on construction and industrial sites)
- Category B driving licence
- Knowledge of Dutch
- A background in electrical engineering is a plus
What we offer
- Salary from €18.00 to €20.68 gross per hour, depending on age, CAO (Dutch collective labour agreement) and experience
- Opportunities to grow, including gaining certificates
- Chance of a permanent contract if things go well
- Full time, 40 hours per week
