Industrial Pump Fitter

About the job

As an industrial pump fitter, you assemble, repair and overhaul industrial liquid pumps and complete pump sets (pump skids). You work from the technical centre in Heteren. You also travel to customers for servicing, maintenance and fault repairs.

What you'll do

• Assemble industrial liquid pumps from individual components
• Build complete pump sets based on technical drawings and customer specifications
• Carry out turning, milling, drilling, welding and painting
• Test pumps and installations
• Repair and overhaul different types of liquid pumps
• Diagnose and fix faults
• Carry out service work at customer sites
• Take part in 24/7 on-call service shifts a few times a year

What we ask

• MBO-level thinking and working (MBO is the Dutch intermediate vocational qualification)
• A technical background, for example in mechanics or mechatronics, is preferred
• Knowledge of cutting techniques, or a willingness to learn them
• TIG welding experience is a plus
• Knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus
• Precise and able to solve problems independently
• Customer-focused and able to work in a team

What we offer

• Salary from €3,200 to €3,700 gross per month based on 40 hours per week
• Full time, 40 hours per week
• 25 vacation days per year
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory annual bonus on top of your salary)
• A performance-based year-end bonus
• Employment conditions under the Technische Groothandel CAO (CAO is a collective labour agreement that sets minimum pay and conditions for a sector)
