Production / Machine Assembly Technician

About the job

The client is a world leader in designing, producing and selling cleaning machines. You work at their plant in Uden, in the assembly department. You assemble both standard machines and custom-built models. You follow technical instructions and make sure every machine meets quality requirements and is ready on time.

What you'll do

• Work from technical instructions and drawings
• Carry out pre-assembly and final assembly
• Assemble machine parts using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Carry out electrical and hydraulic assembly, glued connections and tightening of parts using the HEAT method
• Move finished products to the right location and complete the required paperwork
• Report your progress to your supervisor
• Test non-standard parts and solutions using sound meters, vacuum gauges and electrical measuring instruments, and discuss results with your supervisor
• Carry out more complex pre-assembly work
• Test machines independently after assembly for completeness, function and quality

What we ask

• Flexible attitude to work
• Ability to read technical drawings (preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience as an assembly technician, for example in automotive or maintenance
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering and combustion engines
• Basic knowledge of plastics and acoustic insulation

What we offer

• Hourly rate from €15.47 to €19.49 gross
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, paid on top of your regular wage)
• Housing if needed
• Transport if needed
• Stable full-time work, minimum 40 hours per week
• Working hours: 07:00 to 16:00 with breaks
