About the job
As a renovation worker, you do a variety of work on renovation projects. You work both on your own and with colleagues. The work includes carpentry, painting, installation and assembly. Every day is different. You work at different locations and help improve the living conditions of residents.
What you'll do
- Install kitchens and bathrooms
- Do carpentry work in homes and other buildings
- Paint and finish surfaces
- Install electrical and plumbing systems: heating, electricity, ventilation
- Work with clients and suggest solutions that fit their needs
What we ask
- Experience as a carpenter, painter, kitchen or bathroom fitter, or electrical or plumbing installer
- You think along with the client and look for practical solutions
- You can work on your own and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Category B driving licence
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction and technical work) or willingness to obtain one
What we offer
- Gross salary from €3,000 to €3,500 per month, depending on experience
- Full-time work: 36 to 40 hours per week
- Possibility of a permanent contract after good performance
- Opportunity to obtain your VCA certificate and other certificates and courses
- Varied work across different renovation sites
