Turbocharger Service Technician

About the job

We are looking for an experienced service technician with knowledge of turbochargers, governors, fuel systems and diesel engines. In this role you handle both scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs at customer sites. The work is based in Rotterdam.

What you'll do

• Carry out scheduled inspections and full overhauls of turbochargers, governors and fuel systems
• Diagnose and repair faults in industrial and marine engines
• Perform emergency repairs on-site at customers
• Disassemble, inspect, measure and reassemble engine components according to specifications
• Write clear service and inspection reports

What we ask

• Completed technical MBO (Dutch vocational college) education in mechanics, engine technology or a related field
• Proven experience with turbochargers, fuel systems and diesel engines
• Willingness to be on call for emergencies and to work at customer sites
• Category B driving licence
• Independent, flexible and solution-focused way of working

What we offer

• Salary from €3,600 to €4,600 gross per month, depending on experience
• Possibility of a permanent contract
• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV (extra days off in lieu of overtime) days per year
