Gas, water and heat network installer (trainee position)

About the job

As a trainee installer, you work on projects connected to the energy transition and future infrastructure. You combine work with learning, building experience alongside more senior colleagues. Based in Zwolle, you work on gas, water and heat networks, with a focus on safety, quality and sustainability. This is your chance to grow into an independent installer.

What you'll do

• Locate cables and pipes using manual methods.
• Do groundwork: digging, backfilling and compacting trenches.
• Install network components and connections under supervision.
• Work according to strict instructions and safety guidelines.
• Gradually take on more responsibility, moving towards an independent installer role.

What we ask

• Interest in technical work and working outdoors.
• Willingness to follow training while working.
• Minimum VMBO (lower secondary vocational education) completed.
• Category B driving licence.
• Living in the province of Overijssel or south-east Drenthe.
• Motivation to develop into an independent installer.

What we offer

• Starting salary of €2,900 to €3,200 gross per month.
• Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours, depending on your preference.
• 25 holiday days and 13 ATV days (extra paid time off under the Dutch CAO, the collective labour agreement) at full-time hours.
• Your own van with professional equipment and tools.
• Fully paid training and pay on school days.
