Metal Construction Fitter / Welder

About the job

You work independently. You assemble metal structures using technical drawings and carry out welding work using MIG/MAG or TIG. You work in a modern workshop on a variety of projects in the metal industry.

What you'll do

• Assemble structures based on technical drawings.
• Weld using MIG/MAG and, where needed, TIG.
• Tack, weld and finish components.
• Check dimensions and quality of finished parts.
• Work metal using various tools and machines.
• Keep your workstation safe and tidy.

What we ask

• Experience as a fitter, welder or structural metalworker.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience with MIG/MAG welding.
• You work independently, accurately and with attention to quality and safety.
• Welding certificates or VCA (Dutch safety certificate for construction and industry) are a plus.
