Metal Assembler / Welder

About the job

You work in a team of around 20 people in the Docklevellers department. Your job is to assemble and weld structural parts based on technical drawings and quality standards. Every day is different. You work on various products and you directly affect the end result.

What you'll do

• Assembling and tack welding parts in a jig (fixtures/moulds)
• CO2 and MIG/MAG welding
• Working with and near modern welding robots
• Grinding welds to a clean finish
• Moving materials using slings and lifting equipment
• Checking dimensions and quality
• Reading and working from technical drawings

What we ask

• At least 1 year of experience as a welder
• Experience with CO2 or MIG/MAG welding
• A technical mindset
• Able to work independently
• Eye for quality
• Aware of workplace safety
• Communicative level of Dutch or English
• Able to read technical drawings
• EN-ISO 9606-1 certificate is a plus

• Hourly rate from €18.83 to €21.07 gross
• SAO allowance of €0.51 gross per hour
• Monthly salary up to around €3,735 gross
