Attraction Assembly Technician

About the job

As an assembly technician in the attractions engineering department, you assemble, fit and adjust parts for fairground and theme park attractions. You work from technical drawings and assembly instructions. You make sure every part meets strict quality standards.

What you'll do

• Carry out assembly work on attraction parts
• Check parts, materials and tools before you start
• Assemble wagon components and drive systems
• Fit components such as seats, crossbars, brake systems, bearings and wheels
• Install hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical components
• Route cables and support systems
• Adjust mechanical parts to specification
• Carry out measurements and inspections, and record the results
• Keep tools and workshop equipment in good condition

What we ask

• Completed technical education at MBO level (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a trade or vocational diploma), for example in assembly and maintenance
• Technical ability and an interest in mechanical assembly
• Experience reading technical drawings
• Knowledge of materials, tools and assembly methods
• Precise and quality-focused way of working
• Familiarity with health and safety rules and quality standards
• A proactive attitude and a sense of responsibility
• Able to work in a team and motivated to achieve results together
