Electrical Traction Installer

About the job

You work in the Rotterdam region and you maintain, repair and improve medium and low voltage installations. You work both in the workshop and in the field. Your week includes irregular shifts, weekends and night work. You have a lot of independence and work in a close team. Safety always comes first.

What you'll do

• Inspect and repair medium and low voltage installations, such as rectifier stations, traction networks and third rails
• Diagnose and fix faults in traction installations
• Carry out switching operations following strict safety procedures
• Help develop innovations and improvements in your area of expertise
• Keep the workplace safe and keep public transport in the region running safely

What we ask

• Completed technical MBO (Dutch vocational education) in Electrical Engineering at level 3 or higher
• Experience working with medium and low voltage installations
• Valid category B driving licence
• Willing to work irregular shifts, including night standby and emergency callouts
• Strong focus on safety, quality and problem solving

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary from €2,700 to €3,500 based on 36 hours per week
• Allowance for irregular hours, 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay) and 8.33% annual bonus
