Workshop Assembler

About the job

This job is for someone with technical skills who likes working on mechanical installations. We are looking for a workshop assembler for a technical specialist in the energy sector. The work is project-based and involves compact valve actuators and related control systems. These are not large production runs. Each order is different, and quality and accuracy matter. An experienced assembler will guide you when you start, and there is room to grow.

What you'll do

• Assemble actuators and control systems
• Overhaul and maintain existing systems
• Fit and assemble custom-made parts
• Carry out basic welding work when needed
• Test and inspect assembled systems
• Occasionally carry out service and installation work at customer sites

What we ask

• MBO level (Dutch vocational education) background and way of thinking, preferably in a technical field
• Technical skills and an interest in mechanics
• Some experience as an assembler, production assembler or in a technical department is a plus
• Hands-on and accurate approach to work
• VCA Basis certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on job sites) or willingness to obtain one
• Willingness to learn new techniques and tasks

What we offer

• Salary from €2,900 to €3,600 gross per month based on full-time hours, depending on knowledge and experience
• Full-time position with the prospect of a permanent contract
• Working hours Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
