High Voltage Fitter

About the job

You work hands-on with large high-voltage installations. Your skills help make industry more efficient and sustainable. The client is a technical service provider active in industry around Rotterdam.

What you'll do

• Make cable joints on your own
• Carry out cable tests and insulation measurements
• Connect high-voltage switchgear, motors and transformers
• Make sure all cable connections are safe and correct
• Work on projects in industrial and (petro)chemical environments

What we ask

• MBO level 4 (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering, or an equal level of knowledge and experience
• Certificate Vakbekwaam Persoon Hoogspanning (certified competent person for high voltage) under NEN 3840; Stipel VP is preferred
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage installations up to 30 kV
• Good at solving problems and willing to keep learning
• Strong awareness of safety
• Willing to work in the Rotterdam or Amsterdam area

What we offer

• Salary from €3,700 to €4,600 gross per month
• Extra pay for emergency standby and on-call duties
• Certificates and training fully paid by VNOM, including NEN 3840 recertification
