Production Operator

About the job

You work as an operator on a production line in a biscuit factory in Rucphen. You operate machines, check product quality, and coordinate the work of production workers on your line.

What you'll do

• Operate, change over, and set up production machines
• Carry out product quality checks
• Detect and fix machine faults together with the technical service team
• Carry out minor maintenance work following health and safety rules
• Lead production workers on your line and keep production running smoothly

What we ask

• Communicative level of Dutch
• Experience in production, preferably in the food industry
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a 3-shift system (part-time also possible, minimum 2 days per week)

Employment conditions

• Salary from €3,050 gross per month (includes shift allowance and ADV, a Dutch scheme for extra time off in lieu of hours); with more experience up to €3,275 gross per month
• Shift allowance of 38% for hours between 18:00 and 03:00, and 39% for hours between 03:00 and 06:30
• 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary)
• 25 days of holiday at full-time hours
• Travel cost reimbursement from 5 km one way: €0.25 per kilometre

• Possibility of a direct contract with the employer

Working hours (3-shift system)

• Morning shift: 07:00-15:00
• Afternoon shift: 15:00-23:00
• Night shift: 23:00-07:00 (nights start from Sunday evening)

At full-time hours you rotate between all three shifts. At part-time hours we work out a schedule that fits your availability.
