Oxy-fuel and Plasma Cutting Operator

About the job

Do you like working with steel and modern CNC machines? Work as an oxy-fuel and plasma cutting operator in Veghel. You work the day shift, you get support on the job, and you can earn your overhead crane certificate at the employer's expense.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate cutting machines
• Cut steel plates using oxy-fuel and plasma cutting
• Move materials using an overhead crane and lifting magnets
• Check dimensions and cut edge quality
• Set cutting torches and the right machine parameters
• Work according to the applicable work and safety instructions

This is an active job. You move around a lot and work with large, heavy materials.

Working hours: day shift from 07:00 to 15:45.

What we ask

• A technical education or work experience in a technical trade (preferred)
• Experience in metalworking, welding or steel processing is a plus
• Experience with CNC-controlled machines is a plus
• Experience operating an overhead crane is welcome
• Willingness to take part in internal training and courses
• No overhead crane certificate? No problem, you can get it at the employer's expense
• A good eye for technical detail and a precise, safe way of working

• Gross hourly rate from €17.44 to €17.85
• Paid every week, on Friday
