Thermal Cutting Machine Operator (Flamecutting)

About the job

You work as a thermal cutting machine operator at a production company near 's-Hertogenbosch. You operate gas cutting (flamecutting) and/or plasma cutting machines. You make sure the cuts are accurate and meet the quality standards set out in the technical documentation.

What you'll do

• Operate gas cutting (flamecutting) and/or plasma cutting machines
• Set machine parameters according to the material and job specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation
• Check the quality of cut parts
• Carry out minor maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Report faults and deviations from the standard
• Work according to the health and safety rules on the production floor

What we ask

• Experience in a similar role as a production machine operator
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Accurate and quality-focused way of working
• Basic knowledge of health and safety in an industrial environment
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for contractors) is a plus
• Basic communication skills in English or Dutch
