Production Operator

About the job

You work as an operator on modern, fully automated production machines. Your role includes operating, monitoring and doing small maintenance on the machines. You also keep an eye on product quality.

What you'll do

• Set up and change over machines according to the production order
• Operate machines during production, check that they run correctly and that product quality is good
• Make sure raw materials, semi-finished products and packaging materials are available on time and without interruption
• Report and fix minor faults, and pass on bigger breakdowns to the technical department or your supervisor
• Record production data and follow health and safety rules, including HACCP (food safety management) and BRC (food safety standard)

What we ask

• Experience as a machine operator or equivalent technical background
• Ability to analyse problems, find causes and react quickly
• Willingness to work in a 2- or 3-shift schedule and knowledge of HACCP and BRC
