CNC Profile Grinding Operator

About the job

You work in a team of 20 specialists. Three of them are your direct colleagues in the same unit. Your job is to keep the CNC profile grinding machines running well and to make sure the products meet the highest quality standards. Parts are ground to an accuracy of hundredths of a millimetre.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC profile grinding machines
• Load the correct grinding and dressing programs
• Select and change grinding wheels and fixtures
• Adjust machine parameters to get maximum precision
• Carry out quality checks on products
• Fix minor faults
• Perform first-level maintenance
• Take an active part in improving production processes

What we ask

• Completed vocational education (mbo level 3, a Dutch vocational qualification) in metalworking or a technical field
• Interest in technology, metalworking and automation
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Willing to work in a team
• Eye for quality and precision
• Available to work two shifts
• Independent, patient and responsible

• Salary from €3,143 to €3,910 gross per month, excluding shift allowance
• 15% shift allowance when working two shifts
