CNC Grinding Operator

About the job

As a CNC grinding operator, you are responsible for the correct operation of grinding machines. You work precisely, check quality, and keep the production process running smoothly. You work in a modern grinding department with about 25 colleagues, 8 to 10 of whom are your direct team. You have the opportunity to grow into an all-round CNC grinding operator.

What you'll do

• Set up, change over, and operate CNC grinding machines
• Load the right programs and select grinding wheels
• Carry out quality checks using measurement reports
• Adjust machines to achieve maximum precision
• Fix minor faults and carry out first-level maintenance
• Replace fixtures and grinding wheels
• Take an active part in improving and optimising processes
• Work together in a close team of specialists

What we ask

• Completed vocational education (mbo-3, a Dutch practical qualification at intermediate level) in a metal or technical field
• Interest in technology, metalworking, and automation
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Accuracy and attention to quality
• Ability to work in a team
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation
• Willingness to actively contribute to process improvements

What we offer

• Salary from €3,075 to €3,673 gross per month, excluding shift allowance
• 20% shift allowance for 3-shift work
