CNC Turning Operator

About the job

As a CNC turning operator, you set up and operate CNC lathes on your own. You work from technical drawings and make sure products are made to the required specifications.

What you'll do

• Set up, program and operate CNC lathes independently
• Work from technical drawings
• Select and set the right cutting tools
• Monitor the machining process and make corrections when needed
• Check the quality of products and processes
• Carry out measurements and dimensional checks
• Monitor production orders
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, tools and fixtures
• Detect and fix deviations during the production process

What we ask

• Experience in CNC turning in a production environment
• Experience with modern CNC lathes or combined turn-mill centres
• Knowledge of machining techniques
• Knowledge of different tools and materials
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good spatial and technical thinking
• Experience with Hypermill, Mazatrol or IGF is a plus
• Accurate and independent way of working
• Sense of responsibility for the quality of your own work
• Interest in advanced technology and precision machining

What we offer

• Salary from €2,900 to €4,100 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• 24 to 39 hours per week
• Prospect of a permanent contract
• 30 vacation days and 8 ATV days (reduced working hours days) based on full-time employment
