Graphic Operator

About the job

As a Graphic Operator, you work in a bindery. This is where printed paper is turned into a finished book or magazine. Depending on your experience and interests, you will operate one or more production lines. These lines handle tasks like folding, stitching, binding, cutting, gathering, gluing, or taping. You set up the machines yourself, monitor the production process, and make sure every order meets the required specifications.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and adjust graphic production machines
• Change over and configure machines for different orders and formats
• Monitor the production process and track order progress
• Carry out quality checks on the finished product
• Spot deviations and correct the process as you go
• Fix minor technical faults on the machines
• Guide and support production assistants on your line
• Work with different techniques: folding, cutting, stitching, binding, gathering, and taping
• Work with your colleagues to keep production safe and efficient

What we ask

• Experience as a production machine operator, preferably in the graphic or printing industry
• Able to set up and operate machines independently
• Precise, with good quality control skills
• A team player who is willing to support colleagues
• Available to work a 3-shift schedule
